From scarf to wool on the posive side

Yes, You can destroy a nice scarf and yet do good.
I got this scarf and never use it, I love the colors but it was too long for me.
Now I decided to re use it. I started to open it and roll it to a ball.
I opened only half of it - still a lot of opening to to. It is wool and furry so many of the stitches are kind of felted - so I stop and open it.
Slow job, but I think that it is a good idea any way.

needle felting child

She is 6.5 years old, and she discovered the freedom of needle felting.
Here are some of her creations:

Dolls, mermaids and dancers:

The Zebra "Pasim":A fairy:
Green doll by my DD:

This is a swan in a pond. The pond is play mat with a string.
It was her present for me, her mom, with a hand written heart note in Hebrew: זה בשבילך, אמא
(This is for you, mom).

I got it last night and I am so excited! this is wonderful!

The swan is from pipe cleaners and wool. She needle felted it.

There are many more!
Horse, cat, many gnomes...
It is a magical world here!
A real wool cat with a felted wool cat- that was funny!
Have a happy 2010 from us all!

A mermaid by Liya

See this beautiful little mermaid?
It is all the work of my 6.5 girl! All by her self, using my wool, my wood beads and scraps.
She designed, than created and sew it all up.

I am such a proud mom!

She is making one more now...

+ 3$ worldwide shipping

A Wool Mother is a special doll, with a baby in her arms and a womanly figure.

A unique Wool Mother, that I will create specially for you . I am creating them with special love and care. I choose the colors intuitively unless the buyer asked for specific colors.

Sizes:~ 5.5 X 4.5 inches

Wool mothers are to be placed above the women who gives birth or near by, to give her courage and hope- seeing the wool mom with the baby in her hands helps to see the purpose of all those pains - since there is a baby waiting!
This doll is hand needle felted from organic sheep wool.

The wool mom in the photo is for example only, Since I made her for a pregnant women and sent it away.

Fairy dust

Lately I have been making lots of wool fairies.

The wool is a soft natural material, and I never guess what would the fairy I make will exactly look like. It is a surprise!
Somehow, fairies always find owners who somehow looks a bit like the fairy. How?
I think it is magic!
