Re cycled plastic bag to a pencil roller

DSCN1801, originally uploaded by inbaliya.

Had this idea of pencil roller.
Turned out ugly, but for first time - it is so hot!

Shopping bag ironed rectangle
Sewed her pencil case - roll pencil
Recycling of what's in the house
I do not take bags from stores
But getting gifts - Lemons neighbor, eggplant grandmother
Heavy bags and usability.
Until a hole appears in the bag. Shame shame to throw when you can recycle!

From scarf to wool on the posive side

Yes, You can destroy a nice scarf and yet do good.
I got this scarf and never use it, I love the colors but it was too long for me.
Now I decided to re use it. I started to open it and roll it to a ball.
I opened only half of it - still a lot of opening to to. It is wool and furry so many of the stitches are kind of felted - so I stop and open it.
Slow job, but I think that it is a good idea any way.

Sock Dolls By Inbaliya

Are you also a proud member of the lost sock club?
If you have here and there a sock with no match, you can join the club!

the left pair can be up cycled to a nice toy or something useful as a bed snack or even toys filling!
Here are some of my sock creations!
Some are from new socks who were to small for my children, or to synthetic.
"Hi! nice to meet you! I am GoGo, and I am looking for new home!"
This adorable baby bunny is about 12cm long,
a Waldorf safe for babies doll with peaceful face.
All hand sewn by Inbaliya.

Sewing socks is a really nice hobby! Enjoy!
Here is a good tutorial by YAMA (Hebrew, Photos, I think anyone can understand it) and this is Yama's blog (check it out!)
